While unloading picture files off my I-pad I came across a series of photos of a work in progress from a painting I did this past winter. It's interesting to me now to look how the different lighting for each photo reflects as well as the various color tones and forms in the process of the series. I spent a long snowed in January week playing around with this composition adding a little something more each day or so. I can see through these pictures that when something new is added, often other elements get covered up. For example, though the forms were looser and less defined in the early process pics, the colors in the beginning were extra saturated. ...Inspiration for other paintings.
